Mine ended having a dead pixel a little while after starting to use it is when I noticed. Doesnt bother me too much cause its only noticeable when screen is blacked out.

All things considered, the 24G2 is great monitor. There is minimal backlight bleed with no intrusive hot spots. The contrast ratio is decent at best and black/gray uniformity is okay. There are plenty of OSD features and the buttons are clicky and fairly easy to press. Out of the box the color settings were good enough for me but the brightness was high at 90/100. I recommend setting the overdrive to Medium with FreeSync on, and then in NVIDIA Control Panel changing the custom NVIDIA color settings to use the full color range instead of the limited range. I purchased this monitor in January 2022 and received the newer, updated version from 2021.
Best value I could get for a 144 Hz IPS monitor. 24 inch is perfect for me, and I am totally fine with 1080p. Only downside is, no USB ports.

Just check Hardware Unboxed's review! They selected it as the best bang for the buck 1080p 144hz IPS monitor DEAL of 2020. Plus, G-sync compatible too, -1 star for having NO Display port included in the box when I bought it from the reseller, was able to snag one for 160$, but gotta spend 6$ elsewhere for the DP. As always the name of the game in 2nd hand buy&sell is to be patient. Thank you! :)

Looks superb. IPS panel, 144hz, 1ms response time, freesync. Comes with display port and HDMI cables! One stuck pixel out of the box unfortunately...

The 24G2 had to be returned due to a minor defect, but I replaced it with the XG2405 which is basically the same monitor anyway. Only downside with the XG2405 is that it only has a HDMI cable included which only hits 120hz and doesn't support sync, as opposed to the 24G2's included DP cable.

Finally got the 144Hz experience and all I can say is WOW! No dead pixels for my unit but just ONE overly bright pixel but isn't really noticeable except for white backgrounds.
Purchased this from Amazon US on the first weeks of release and I was worried about how I'll bring this back home to the Philippines. Good thing that I managed to pack this into a box (with some clothes) that doesn't exceed airline limitations and had this as check-in baggage during my flight back home. Pretty good monitor overall!
