Description

It had a budget of $1000 and the cpu cooler made it over budget. The motherboard was good except the m.2 thermal pad had a gouge in it. Also the holes on the cases psu shroud were pretty much blocked by the motherboard. Also the closest hole to the psu can't have anything through it because the psu is there.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great runs everything fine.

CPU Cooler

Bigger than you think! Keeps a i5 12th gen very cool.

Memory

What can I say cheap fast ram

Storage

Good, fast speeds without a hefty price tag.

Case

Good, but some of the holes in the psu shroud are hard to use with the motherboard blocking it.

Monitor

Good 144hz 1080p, such a massive step up from a square 60hz.

Not a bad build yourself! I can easily appreciate a blackout theme. Also note about the blocked out holes I had some similar issues with the Be Quiet Silent Base 800 I was using where I needed to thread cables below and the CPU power cable all before laying the MOBO into it just to make it all possible. So frustrating only to realize after you seated it in!
